Mena d'Agudo, l'Estatut i els socialistes

Tot hom ja esta al corrent de les declaracions del general Mena d'Agudo sobre l'Estatut que en costat la carrera i 8 dies d'arrest domiciliari. Que trobo molt molest de general- i gairebé un insult per ser tan fora de lloc- es la seva afirmació que Catalunya i altri exigeixen el coneixement de la llengua regional com a una aspiració desmesurada. ¿ I perqu mon general que un caporal de segon o un comandant aprengui el gallec o el catal es inacceptable? ¿Com subordinaria la disciplina militar?

Contrriament a Josep Maria Fabregas No n'estic tan sanguinari que els disbarat del general es tractés d'un discurs pro-democrcia. Com havia escrit al seu bitcola que els generals haurien de donar un cop d'ull a Canad on les unitats locals- la milícies- a Quebec i a Nou Brunswick parlen francs i no molesta a ningú. Al contrari, permet un francofn de fer carrera militar si la desig.

El problema es un que data ja desde Olivares. Que l'elit polític castell se enfadava que Catalunya no contribuiria res al manteniment del imperi per tampoc els hi volen donar cap crrec en canvi. La successió de Felipe V al tron espanyola no ha fet res més que agreujar l'obsessió unitria i d'homogenitzar culturalment la península. I cada vegada que Galícia Catalunya o País Basc reivindiquessin llurs diferncies els castellans xisclen en horror com si es tractés d'una declaració d'independncia.

Ara llegeixo de Tumbuctú que el discurs del general Mena d'Agudo a gairebé fotut l'Estatut en un cul de sac Si es decideix de retirar l'estatut per que realisticament no es podr ratificar, hi haur de passar conseqüncies polítiques immediates.

La primera es Zapatero es un mentider del qual no es podr fiar mai més en qualsevulla cosa que advoqui. Segona s'ha de fer saltar la legislatura per a provocar el·leccions anticipades. Sancionem el tripartit bastant fort començant amb els socialistes catalans.

S'els ha de fer entendre que el succursalisme ha sigut un fracs, no donar res i sempre han de comprometre's-en res en canvi; doncs, s'ha de trencar tot vincle amb el partit nacional.

Que aquest advoqui un centralisme jacobí amb un política cultural homogenetzador es perfectament legítim; per a Catalunya mai guanyar el suport aquí.

Quant al PP de Catalunya ja es un partit marginal i se'l ignor encara més per que quan guanyin el PP nacional es venjaren contra tot els partit i individus que havien recolzats l'Estatut. La política espanyola es crispar durant bon tros i es paralitzar qualsevulla incitativa legislativa.

Pettigrew, Option Canada ou les scandales chez les Libéraux ne cessent

Dans les journaux, il y des articles qui demandent quel lien existe-t-il entre un organisme opaque le travail effectué par Pettigrew lors du referendum de '95. Il a soumis une facture de quelques 12 000$ comme honoraires mais celle-ci ne précise pas exactement ce qu'il a effectué. Pettigrew nie qu'il avait travaillé pour Option Canada mais on possde cette preuve documentaire qui n'éclarit gure mais suscite davantage des questions.

Cette révélation tombe un mal moment pour les Libéraux. Non seulement, le scandale de commandites les poursuit sans merci, mais cette facture rappelle aux gens que les Libéraux n'ont jamais fait la ménage de s'en débarrasser d'image qu'ils sont des escroquers qui ont dépouillés le public de leur argent pour de fins strictement privées et partisannes.

Je pense que les Libéraux perderont encore plus fort les élections puisque les gens les mépriseront jusqu' temps que le parti se réforme de façon sérieuse et non-équivoque.

Ottawa- The federal Ministry of Transport has banned all airlines from Moslem dominated countries from landing in Canada . Particularly affected are the Mideast airlines who must also pay very heavy fines for their continuous violations of Canadian human rights. A spokeman at the Ministry was quoted: Basically we become fed up with the Moslem countries' constant harassment through petty rules that prohibit travelling in peace. Further, not that many airlines from Moslem dominated countries land in Canada but many do have connecting flights to the U.S. and Europe. Our ban has really put a crimp on their flight connection and will cost them business. Our hope is that we bankrupt them. Once that reality sinks in, the Moslem countries will cease their pettifoggery. If not, well no major loss as the Mideast market, with the exception of Israel, is the smallest in the world.
The Canadian Airline Association is satisfied with decision as it gives their employees peace of mind; while the association of airline travellers is estatic. Murielle Samosonite said: The Canadian travellers are very happy that the Moslem airlines can no longer land in Canada. No longer do they have to put up with the Moslem official dictating to them what they can't bring such innocuous items like teddy bears or Valentine day cards. Moslem countries need us; we don't need them.
Boeing and Airbus have publically expressed their support at the decision even if their support costs them contracts. The G7 countries as well as Latin America and several Asian countries have promised to award contracts to both companies to offset
Officials from Arab and Moslem Airline Organization could not be reached for comment; however sources close to the Secretary General state that the airline officials are in a state of shock and are scrambling to prevent other non-Moslem countries from following Canada's surprise decision

European officials have pointedly rejected reclamations by peninsular officials for the destruction of the country's main airport. The destruction was caused when non-Moslems angered at the muttawa's heavyhanded destruction of bibles, forcible removal of crucifixes and medallions from non-Moslem women as well as their haughtiness.

The 3 day rampage has completely gutted the facilities and the authorities were unable to stop the destruction. The failure was particularly stunning when the peninsular's crack security forces were chased out of the airport grounds by irate passengers.

The muttawa suffered even more greviously when irate passengers assaulted its members with relish.

European officials continued to remind the peninsular diplomats that the Bible is the West's holy book and is to be treated with the same respect as the Koran. Further, what did the muttawa expect? The peninsula can no take for granted non-Moslems; they don't need to be here while the peninsula is totally dependent on them for its luxurious lifestyle. Something the diplomats must coney to their superiors

European officials refusal to compensate the peninsula's reclamation for the airport's total destruction also stems from money due the former for all of the increased security that have had to be implemented since 1972. Peninsular officials have threatened to cut off Europe's oil supplies but officials welcomed the threat since Canada would be a more reliable supplier thanks to the latest breakthroughs in extracting oil from tar sand and cultural affinities.
